GIBF discusses
investment opportunities in Meghalaya with its deputy CM
Founder and Global President of Global India, Dr. Jitendra Joshi met the Deputy Chief
Minister and Industry Minister of Meghalaya, Mr. Sniawbhalang Dhar when they discussed about
investment opportunities in Meghalaya for the growth of the state and New Meghalaya Industry
Policy. Dr. Joshi felicitated the minister and also presented him with GIBF’s honorary
membership memento. Mr. Dhar assured his support to GIBF in its efforts to improve trade
opportunities in this developing state of North East India.
Meghalaya aims at promoting
and developing MSMEs in the state by giving preference in purchase of its products and
services in comparison with the units located outside the state without compromising on
quality. This is in sync with GIBF’s motto of uplifting the MSME sector for overall economic
development of the country and worldwide as well.
