After the Indian National Anthem, Mr. Abhay Firodia was felicitated by Founder and Global
President of GIBF, Dr Jitendra Joshi, Secretary General Deepali Gadkari and GIBF Global Director
- Investment and Business Council, Mr. Abhishek Joshi.
During his welcome address, Dr. Joshi spoke about GIBF’s endeavours in enhancing bilateral trade
between India and other countries through business conclaves, international business
delegations, seminars, webinars and encouraging outstanding business leaders by felicitating
them. He shared about the recent success of GIBF’s International Business Conclave at Advantage
Vidarbha 2026.
“India’s BRICS+ Presidency this year, places strong emphasis on inclusive growth, resilient
supply chains, digital public infrastructure, sustainable development, and deeper
people-to-people and business-to-business engagement across BRICS+ nations. Our vision resonates
with this. Through this conclave, we aim to foster meaningful discussions that convert intent
into action and conversations into concrete collaborations,” Dr. Joshi said.
Mr. Firodia, during his keynote address spoke about India’s glorious past and the false
perceptions that the world, particularly the West, had. He said that many powers were and are
trying to destroy India’s economic strength.
“India is going to be very successful on the strength of its small and micro industry because
they are now allowed to grow. You can grow and you must grow. It is fortunate that Dr. Joshi and
his team are bringing you together for your own consultation and with eminent international
personalities,” said Mr. Firodia, encouraging the business leaders.
“GIBF is doing a great job by bringing together MSMEs with eminent international personalities
to be able to reach out to their markets, and build relations,” asserted Mr. Firodia.
Ambassadors/high commissioners and other diplomats from the 15 countries were felicitated by Mr.
Firodia, Mr. Gaikwad, Dr. Joshi and Ms. Deepali Gadkari.
Special edition of the GIBF’s mouthpiece, The Business Tycoons magazine, was released by the
guests and the diplomatic community.
MSME business leaders, entrepreneurs, and women business leaders who have brought about a
significant difference in their respective sectors were felicitated.
The conclave saw country presentations by the diplomats who shared valuable information about
business opportunities in their respective countries, country-wise panel discussions, B2B & B2G
meetings.
Memorandums of Understanding was signed between GIBF and ICAPIFPO Sri Lanka, and between GIBF
and Lincoln Global Law Chambers, Sri Lanka.
The Conclave also saw fruitful discussions during the high tea at the conclusion of the event.
