GIBF Strengthens India–Qatar Business Cooperation
The Global India Business Forum (GIBF) continues to advance India–Qatar business cooperation
through focused interactions with business counterparts from both countries, led by GIBF
President Dr. Jitendra Joshi.
Qatar is one of the most prominent nations in the Gulf region and ranks among the world’s
leading economies, with the fourth-highest GDP (PPP) per capita. Its robust economic
environment, strategic geographic location, and investor-friendly policies present
significant opportunities for Indian businesses across multiple sectors.
During the interactions, key business opportunities were discussed, including collaboration
in energy, infrastructure, logistics, manufacturing, fintech, food processing, tourism,
healthcare, and emerging technologies. Emphasis was placed on bilateral trade expansion,
investment partnerships, joint ventures, and market access for enterprises from both India
and Qatar.
Dr. Jitendra Joshi, along with the GIBF leadership team, highlighted GIBF’s role as a
facilitator for B2B and B2G engagement, SME empowerment, and structured international
business networking. The discussions reflected strong mutual interest in building long-term,
result-oriented partnerships that contribute to economic growth in both nations.
GIBF remains committed to strengthening global business linkages and enabling sustainable
cooperation between Indian and Qatari industry stakeholders.
