The
Global India Business Forum (GIBF) organized the National
Awards for Business Excellence at Le Meridien in New Delhi on June 4, 2022 in the presence of
several dignitaries. Businesspersons from MSME sector, start-ups and others from Delhi and other
cities were felicitated for their outstanding work in their respective fields. GIBF also
honoured artists with exceptional contributions in the field.
The dignitaries appreciated the formation of India-Trinidad and Tobago Business and Cultural
Council and the council website that were inaugurated by Minister of State for External Affairs
and Culture of India Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi.
The honourable minister congratulated the awardees and wished India and Trinidad and Tobago the
best for their exceptional concept of the Business and Cultural Council through a video.
Several cultural programmes were performed by renowned artists during the award function.

Commissioner of Uruguay in India, H.E Ria Sital - Ambassador of the Republic of Suriname in
India, H.E David Puig - Ambassador of The Dominican Republic in India and Global President of
GIBF, Dr. Jitendra Joshi.
