The
International Chamber of Agricultural Plantation Industry & Farmer Producer
Organization (ICAPIFPO)
was established on
9 December 2025 in Sri Lanka under the Companies Act No.
7 of 2007.
The organization is dedicated to strengthening the agricultural ecosystem through
innovation,
digital transformation, and global collaboration.
ICAPIFPO promotes modernization in agriculture aligned with the
Inclusive Digital Agriculture Transformation (IDAT) Strategy 2023
and the National Digital Economy Strategy 2030.
The chamber empowers farmers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs),
and agri-entrepreneurs through technology adoption, research collaboration,
and policy advocacy.
Through its initiatives, ICAPIFPO aims to develop sustainable agricultural
value chains, encourage knowledge sharing, and promote international cooperation
in agriculture and plantation sectors.
