history of the
pharmaceutical industry
right from the times of World Wars. One of the esteemed
panelists, Dr. Karthik Anantharaman, when asked about the differences between the different
fields of medicine like homeopathy, allopathy and Ayurveda said that no field competes with the
other; rather they “complement each other”. It is first important to understand which field
suits which scenario. Another esteemed panelist, Dr. MD Amin Mir, took the research situation
during COVID in a different and positive light and spoke about the positive as well as negative
challenges that the pandemic has brought to their
R&D
efforts.
