Global India Business Forum
(GIBF) that is the strongest business networking platform working particularly to boost the
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) globally, observed the International MSME Day in a
unique manner on June 27.
A function was organized at the GIBF office in Primrose Mall, Baner wherein micro and small
businesspersons from various fields were felicitated by the Chief Guest, Mandar Patil, Director
of well-known newspaper Pudhari. There were around 35 businesspersons doing businesses in
computer hardware, gym, courier services, sign arts printing, restaurant and cloud kitchen
business, water tanker services, grid logistics, hair studio, glass fitting, carpentry, dry
cleaning, cycle, showroom, Wi-Fi provider, multispecialty clinic, and many others.
“While doing business, one should keep their ego aside and satisfy the customer’s ego. If you
have ego, you will not be able to do business,” advised Mr. Patil while addressing the
gathering. He said that customer was the king and that one should always be polite to them. He
also explained the importance of paying taxes.
“You should not be only the receiver but also the giver. You have to give back to the society.
Paying taxes is not just beneficial to you but also for the economy of the country,” Mr. Patil
said.
The businesspersons expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards GIBF for organizing such a
function and honouring them.
At the beginning of the programme, Global President of GIBF, Dr. Jitendra Joshi welcomed the
guests and delivered the introductory note. He felicitated the chief guest. The vote of thanks
was proposed by Director of GIBF, Deepali Gadkari. The function was attended by the entire GIBF
team.
