Pune: The Global India Business Forum (GIBF) organized a seminar on Investment Opportunities and Prospects for Indian businesses in the Republic of Belarus. Mr. Alexander ZHYTKO, First Secretary Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of India, was the chief guest and eminent speaker. He spoke elaborately about the opportunities in his country for Indian businesspeople in several sectors. He informed that natural resources, human resources, big market and tax incentives were some of the major reasons to invest in Belarus. Around 80 business leaders from various sectors attended the seminar that was followed by a Q and A Session wherein the queries were answered satisfactorily by Mr. Alexander ZHYTKO. Initially, Founder and Global President of GIBF, Dr. Jitendra Joshi introduced GIBF and explained its aims and objectives. Dr. Joshi and Co-founder and Secretary General, Ms. Deepali Gadkari felicitated the chief guest in the beginning of the programme.
The diplomats included H.E. Mr. Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of The Mongolian People's Republic to the Republic of India; H.E. Ibrahim Shaheeb, High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives to the Republic of India; Mr. Ahmad Zuwairi Yusoff, Consul General of Malaysia in the Republic of India; Mr. Shazri Hidayat (Consul – Investment Section) of Malaysia in the Republic of India; Do Duy Khanh, First Secretary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Mr. Tara Nath Adhikari (Minister Economic), Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal; Mr. Badri Prasad Tiwari (Counsellor) Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, and Ms. Kakoli Saha (Counsellor), People's Republic of Bangladesh.
