The Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1985 and is based in Amman. It is made up of approximately 292 top businessmen from a variety of industries, including banking, industry, commerce, and agriculture. Its principal aim is to cultivate an environment for business that permits the private sector to play a role in Jordan's sustainable economic development. The JBA engages with government agencies, serves as a single point of contact for Jordanian businesspeople abroad, and has formed joint business councils with organizations across 40 nations. Enhancing the investment climate is at the center of its vision, and empowering the private sector to meet its social and economic obligations through investment stimulation is the goal of its purpose.
