Global India Business Forum had hosted the Jordanian delegation meet on July 12, 2023, from 11 am-1pm at Avanta Business Centre, Connaught Place, for textile, agro food, pharmaceuticals, cotton, fertilizers, and mining sectors. Around 45 businesspersons marked their presence for the exclusive B2B meet.
The diplomats from Jordan included Mr. Mohammad Harahsheh - Economic Councilor Embassy of The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Bilal Hammouri, Director of Investment Promotion Department, Ministry of Investment, Mr. Tariq Hijazi, Assistant Secretary General of Arab Businessmen Federation, Mr. Ali Qussairy, Head of India Desk - Jordan Ministry of Investment, Mr. Dilbag Singh – Director General MIICCIA, Mr. Gaurav Ravish Additional Director MIICCIA and Mr. Ajay Singh, Chairman – CPFIB and Mr. Pulkit Sharma, General Secretary CPFIB. The diplomats were welcomed and felicitated by Neelkamal Anchan (Marketing Head and India Coordinator – GIBF). The programme was anchored by Arushi Agrawal from GIBF.
Mr. Tariq announced that any business-related communication, investment, B2B meetings or business delegation that Indian businesspersons want to organize will be routed through Global India Business Forum. He made the path-breaking announcement as GIBF and Jordan Businessmen Association (JBA) signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Jordanian-Indian Business Council during the delegation meet.
